Every year in February before the shows start, we host a popular and comprehensive clinic on bit checking, stewarding, scribing and scoring. We provide information from the clinic year round for anyone to read on how to be a top-notch volunteer at dressage shows. Scroll down to bottom of page to find links to documents.
At the clinic, a KY “R” Technical Delegate, Susan Moran, teaches bit checking and stewarding with her knowledge and wisdom. Judge “R” from Lexington, KY, Susan Posner, judges pre-recorded rides to give a scribing practice. Scribe extraordinaire, Robin Weinstein, shares her expertise and experience scribing alongside many known dressage judges. Finally, last but not the least, a veteran Chief Scorer, Suzanne Richards, teaches organization tips and general rules for scoring dressage tests.
